Part Review: Thick as Thieves
Thick as thieves
4 Jan
I did not watch all of it, but I’ll talk about the one half that I saw, the last half. I know that’s not very fair to judge a movie on but I thought that I might as well.
Thick as Thieves as pretty much just another Bank Heist Thriller. There are hundreds out there and Morgan Freeman has been in half of them. Don’t get me wrong, I love Morgan Freeman and I love him as an actor but 1/4 thrillers I see he’ll have some role in. Some of them are great (Along Came a Spider, Se7en) where others like Thick as Thieves are just reasonable.
The plot was pretty much all it needed to be but I will admit that a lot was lost on me as I came in half way through the film. What I thought was a twist was in fact information told in the first half of the film. So that’s probably one issue with coming in halfway. The plot seemed alright, it is a thriller so you know there will be some kind of twist at some point.
Everything seemed to be alright to me, nothing special.edit: Should really follow the same rules as Norbit and not rate films I’ve not seen from start to finish. Makes sense.
